  • We stand behind the quality of everything we sell. If you’re unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you may return most items* in new, unused, original condition within 30 days of your delivery date. Returns must be in the original packaging with product tags intact. If we provide a return shipping label, return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund. If you choose to provide your own shipping label, we recommend that you obtain a tracking number for your own protection.

If you received an incorrect, damaged, or defective item, we’ll need photos and an explanation of the problem to determine whether it’s eligible for a refund or replacement. Note, wool carries the mild natural scent of lanolin; this is not considered a defect. If we deem the product to have been received damaged or defective, we will provide a return shipping label at no charge.

Returns must not show signs of use and should be in original packaging. The decision of an inspection may take up to 7 business days. With all items, if after inspection we determine your item doesn’t qualify a refund you have 30 days to choose to have it shipped back to you at your expense.

*Certain mattresses excluded. See product pages for guidance and restocking fees. Clearance and custom items are nonreturnable.

  • This question is at the heart of Pram N Proper. Helping alleviate the stress and information overload in the purchasing journey is why I love worki

g with baby gear so much. Here is the most important thing to realize: there are pros and cons to every single brand, and the process is about finding which pros and cons best fit your life.

Car seat hot take: You don’t need an infant car seat. They are definitely convenient, being able to carry in and out of the car, possibly snapping into a stroller; however, if your finances are better suited towards using a convertible car seat from birth - sixty pounds, do what’s best for you.

Strollers: Before considering anything else, look at where you live and how much storage you have. Questions to ask yourself: How many flights of stairs will we carry the stroller? Do we have an elevator? Do we have a garage or a tiny hall closet? By answering these questions, you will drastically narrow down the types of strollers you should be considering to fit your life.

If you need further assistance, let’s set up a call! Don’t feel embarrassed if you are not considering a stroller I sell. It is my joy to help you.

  • Gear demos are currently paused as my family is moving to NYC. Gear demos will resume in May. I am still happy to talk gear with you, and help you with your decision making process!

  • Chicago, no. In NYC - yes, along with baby furniture! Experience in assembling Bumbleride, Bugaboo, Joolz, Uppababy, Stokke, Oeuf, Newport Cottages, and DucDuc.

  • Protect your purchase. Place your comforter inside a washable duvet cover and your pillows in washable cases.

For mattress toppers, place a moisture barrier between the topper and a fitted sheet.

Wool needs to breathe. Unmaking your bed each morning allows any moisture to evaporate. Sunning your wool bedding a few times a year is also great for keeping it refreshed. Indoors, just open the curtains and let the rays in. You can also take your items outside to soak up the sun in the fresh air.

    Dry cleaning is not recommended.

  • Keep in mind that with each washing there is the potential for slight shrinkage. Wash only as needed. With both methods described below, it’s important that you skip the wash cycle. The wash cycle creates agitation, which can result in felted or ruined wool bedding.

TOP-LOAD WASHERS - Use soak and spin cycles only. Do not use the wash cycle, which agitates and can
ruin your items. Manually set cycles to soak and spin. Do not allow the machine to enter the wash cycle.
    - SOAK. Fill machine with cold water. Add a small amount of biodegradable detergent or wool wash. Place item in machine, gently pushing to absorb the water. Let it soak.
    - SKIP ALL WASH CYCLES. The wash cycle is where agitation happens. Instead, manually set to spin. Centrifugal force will spin the water out.
    - SOAK & SPIN. Leave item in machine, allow to refill with cold water and soak. Follow with a
    spin cycle. Repeat as needed.
    - DO NOT MACHINE DRY. Drape your wool items in the sun or a warm place to dry.

FRONT-LOAD WASHERS – Use the gentlest, shortest and lowest-soil settings. Do not use the wash cycle, which agitates and can ruin your items. For best results, wash with a full load.
    - SOAK. Place items in the machine and fill with cold water. Add a small amount of biodegradable detergent or wool wash to the dispenser. Let it soak.
    - SKIP ALL WASH CYCLES. The wash cycle is where agitation happens. Instead, manually set
to spin. Centrifugal force will spin the water out.
    - SOAK & SPIN. Leave item in the machine and allow to refill with cold water and soak. Follow
with a spin cycle. Repeat as needed.
    - DO NOT MACHINE DRY. Drape your wool items in the sun or a warm place to dry.

NO GUARANTEE ONCE ITEMS HAVE BEEN WASHED
Due to the variety of washing machines on the market and the differences in their operation, we do not guarantee bedding items once they have been machine washed. We want you to enjoy your natural products for years to come and offer these washing instructions to assist you in giving them the best care possible. Understanding the basic principles of the soak-and-spin method explained here will enable you to maximize the life of your bedding.

For all non-Holy Lamb Organic purchases, follow the directions listed on the specific item page.

  • Soak the affected area with hydrogen peroxide (note, peroxide may cause lightening of the fabric). As the area dries, you’ll see stains lift and disappear. Tougher stains may require repeat applications. For larger areas, place the stained portion in a sink or tub, apply a biodegradable detergent and run water through the soiled area. Wool is very absorbent, so avoid immersing the entire item in water. Drape or line dry in the sun or warm place. You can also place the soaked area between two towels and press the excess moisture out. Do not wring or machine dry.

Note: Do not try hydrogen peroxide spot cleaning on colorful cloth, as it does lighten fabric.
